Vampires improve on their understanding of adapting the body to the task at hand. By transforming their shape the vampire assumes a more monstrous and effective form, growing out of proportions and gaining significant benefits.

• System: By either taking a turn or as part of the activation of the Shapechange (core), Vicissitude (Socratov) or similar transformative powers, the user may distribute 4 dots to their physical abilities for the duration of the power. These ability dots may be used to enable the changes made through Vicissitude (Socratov) and/or Fleshcraft (Socratov). In the case of Fleshcraft (Socratov) these dots aren't lost at the end of the scene but until the changes are healed or when Fleshcraft (Socratov) and/or [Horrid form (Socratov)]] is used again on the recipient of these dots. If the vampire activates this power without another discipline they need to make 1 rouse check and distribute 4 dots on physical attributes.

Users of this power may use the higher of Blood Potency or 5 as maximum rating to distribute dots to physical attributes.

Why did Horrid Form need fixing? Protean lacked support for shape changing Gangrel at higher threat levels. This version of HF makes it useful for Gangrel, Ministry and Tzimisce, expanding on all of their abilities.
