•• | The Kennel |
The Bratovitch family is known for their aptitude in breeding exceptionally stocky animals and skilled hounds, with many of their estates containing a vast stable where these experiments are kept. Your revenant has a kennel of their own. Distribute three dots between Herd and Retainer to represent the animals meant for feeding and hunting.
••• | Hunting Party |
You have a tight-knit family unit of Bratovitch revenants by your side. You receive Allies (••) to represent them (Effectiveness 2) instead of the usual Retainer (•). Once per story they will accompany you for a session, lending their assistance to Animal Ken, Awareness, Stealth, and Survival dice pools through Teamwork (See Vampire: the Masquerade, p.122). They add a die per present and able revenant.
•••• | Go To Ground |
Often there is a need to rest and recuperate between hunts, especially when your prey are elder vampires and lupines. Once per story when things get too hot, you can retreat to an estate outside of the city where you enjoy the hospitality of the extended Bratovitch family. This is the equivalent of a 3-dot Haven (Vampire: the Masquerade, p.188) with four dots to distribute among the Machine Shop, Hidden Armory, and Watchmen Merits. Unfortunately, it is also Creepy and Shared. You may stay for three days and nights, unless you make efforts to impress your host.
••••• | The Hungry Vozhd |
You possess a hulking mass of weeping, angry flesh comprising dozens of ghouls and shaped into a state most useful for your purposes. Work with your Storyteller to determine its unique traits and customise the antagonist stat block, whether a gift from an ancient Fiend, a relic of Sabbat occupation, or your own handiwork (Players Guide, p.242). This creature is a horrific breach of the Masquerade, incapable of affection, speech, or complex thought. It eats blood and flesh, indiscriminately tries to kill everyone except you and individuals whose blood you have personally fed it, and must likely be chained up or stored in pieces. This lore does not provide a Bratovitch retainer, or more likely, they are now one with the Vozhd. |
