With the Followers of Set rebranding and Ministry joining the Anarchs, there is at least one bloodline of theirs who remains "Independent" The Serpents of Light, or "Cobras" Whether or not they remain with the fringe remnants of the Sabbat, or perhaps even joined join up with the Hecata on referral from their Samedi Nasyon San An allies in the new pseudo-sect Clan, they continue to practice a bastardized form of the Wanga faith in true Setite fashion.
The fact that they revile Set makes joining with the Anarchs in any but the most open-minded baronies a bit of a political hassle to say the least, but perhaps in regions lacking many Ministers, or with younger Anarchs oblivious to or indifferent to their history with the Sabbat, they could find a home in the local Anarch scene, ready to join the fight against the Camarilla.
'''Bane''': Cobras suffer from the usual Bane, if they chose to replace Obfuscate with Auspex take the 2 dot (••) 4 dot (••••) or 5 dot (•••••) Lore, they additionally suffer the following: Every night the Cobra must perform a 10 minute ritual dedication to the spirits. Should they fail to do so, their Haven, even a temporary one, gains the "Creepy" and "Haunted" Flaw for the night ('''Vampire the Masquerade 5th Edition Corebook Pg. 188''')
••• '''Wangateur'''<br>
The Serpents of Light mark descent from African Setites known as the "Children of Damballah" and have spread throughout the Caribbean, Haiti and the Southern United States. You gain 4 dots to spread among allies, herd and contacts among similar groups of mortals and once per story, you can ask a favor of a Kindred of a Laibon Legacy, a Hecata of the Samedi Bloodline, or anyone else who might fall in line with your spiritual beliefs and they will usually agree as long as it furthers their causedoesn't put them in harm's way.
••••• '''Call the Ara Orun'''<br>
The Cobra can call upon ancestral spirits to assist in Rituals and Ceremonies, and perhaps render other services. You gain 5 dots in Mawla representing an ancestral spirit you have called upon with some ritual or ceremony. This Mawla can assist in Rituals and Ceremonies conferring 2 automatic successes, if the spirit is involved for the whole Ritual or Ceremony cut the casting time in half. The spirit can also be very fickle, if the roll would have failed without the Spirit's aid only succeeds by a margin of 2 or less, or it fails outright, roll a 1d10 check, on a failure the Mawla becomes a 5 dot adversary for the night, this adversary flip happens automatically on a bestial failure.
