Shape of the Beast's Wrath
- Amalgam: Animalism 1, Celerity 1, Fortitude 1, Potence 1
- Prerequisite: Feral Weapons
The kindred viscerally transforms into a terrible bestial shape, channeling their beast through their unliving flesh, and taking qualities of the animal they feel the closest kinship with(Big cats, canines, birds, and rodents are all quite common). Many uninitiated mistake this shape as a type of were-creature, though the viscerality of the form quickly differentiates it from the more natural forms of the Fera. The vampire gains half again their height and their weight triples in this shape.
- Cost: 2 Rouse Checks
- Dice Pool: See System
- System: No skill check is needed, and the transformation takes two turns. While transformed, you may activate your Blood Surge without making a Rouse Check on any die pool using Strength, Dexterity, or Stamina and on perception rolls, you move at twice your ordinary speed, you gain additional Health equal to your Blood Surge, you add your Blood Surge to your strength for determining Feats of Strength, and your fangs extend and you grow other appropriate bodily weapons, such as claws, barbs, and similar such constructions. These deal aggravated damage to mortals and non-halved superficial damage to kindred, and are +3 weapons.
This form comes with significant disadvantages. When you test for Frenzy, your dice pool is reduced by your Bane Severity and you cannot benefit from your Humanity in this form. This form is a massive masquerade breach in every conceivable way, and further terrifies all mortals who see it. Attempting to interact civilly in this form is impossible from both sides, your beast preventing you from doing so and others not wishing to.
