|description=It's a common belief among vampires that Auspex doesn't work through cameras. It's not just about literal seeing, after all; one of the main draws of Auspex is that it can detect things that mere eyes cannot. But at least one coterie of Anarch Malkavians and Tremere suggest this might not be true. There's a certain sort of correspondence between a person and a photograph of that person, which an Auspex-user with the right training can learn to exploit.

|system=A vampire with this power can apply their other powers of Auspex to a "reflection": a literal mirror image, a live video or audio feed, or a sufficiently high-resolution recording. They can scry someone's aura over the phone, read thoughts through a security feed, or detect a Blood Sorcery ward from a photograph. Any other requirements of the power, such as needing physical touch for Spirit's Touch or direct eye contact for Possession, still apply. (Note that amalgams requiring Auspex, such as Fatal Precognition, are considered Auspex powers for this purpose per page 244 in the corebook.)
Special: Powers which establish some sort of link or connection between the vampire and a target (Share the Senses, Telepathy, etc) can be applied over a live feed, but not on a recording.
