  • Amalgam: Blood Sorcery 1

Born from an infernal cult of Aapilu worshippers, this power combines the corrupting whispers of the Aapilu with the spiritual aspects of Oblivion, rotting the soul from inside and cutting off the empathy and emotional connections of the target. In this state, the victim feels a lack of emotion and connection with those around them, making it easier to hurt themselves and others or to commit other sins.

  • Cost: 1 Rouse Check
  • Dice Pool: Manipulation+Oblivion vs Composure+Resolve
  • System: No roll is required against an unprepared mortal victim. On a successful test of Manipulation+Oblivion against Composure+Resolve, the victim gains a Stain that cannot be removed by anything other than this power ending. While this power is active, the victim's Resonance is counted as one stage lower than it normally would be, from Acute to Intense, Intense to Fleeting or Fleeting to None. A mortal who becomes Impaired by this power has their Resonance become Empty, regardless of what stage it was before and cannot spend Willpower. A vampire that becomes Impaired by this power, suffer a three-dice penalty instead of the usual two and the difficulty of the test for terror frenzy to break a Tenet becomes Difficulty 5. A victim can only have one Stain from this power at a time and the user can only affect a number of victims equal to their Blood Sorcery rating at a time.
  • Duration: A number of nights equal to the test margin +1, doubled in the case of a Critical Win.
